Ooooh, look at you stopping down your lens and getting all sun-bursty! ;)
The picture where you are shooting up at JJ? He looks a lot like Indigo. The picture of Indigo with the yellow flower? She looks a lot like you. And yet Jackson doesn't look like you at all....
Some nice pictures of the hubby this week. And I see some more of your VSCO's. I like them, but I like your own processing more.
I really like that you took some more pictures of your (rather gorgeous) man this week. I keep meaning to take more of mine. The textures created by the patterned curtain are very lovely. Jackson's cute as a button face peeking in-between his beautiful siblings is too sweet. Your pictures are just so sunny. I love the reflection one too. I am going to have to work out the sun-bursty thing! Oh and I love Indigo's dress. I wish you had been dressing me as a child...actually I could still use some help now :-) Intimidatingly wonderful, as always.
The sun burst (as taught to me by Tarnya) uses a larger f-stop, in this case f/16. Given that I pretty much always use the other end of the f-stop scale, I had never had this effect in my photos, instead always getting a more blown out look. I really like that defined asterisk shape so you'll probably see a lot more of these in my photos in the coming weeks...always good to learn new tricks..and then use them ad nauseam ;) Also, the beautiful dress that Indigo has on is from Eeni Meeni Miini Moh (http://www.eenimeeni.com/) and as you can see from these photos, she wore it non stop all week!
hey, what's it like being married to lenny kravitz?! ;) heehee. as always - a stunning collection!!!! argh, so gorgeous. loooove the trio shots and the b&w of the brothers looks like a magazine or album cover. just awesome. jackson in the towel w reflection is so peaceful and perfect. ok ok i love them all! :) *sigh*
You have such a rock star family!! Your photos of them are always out of this world. I LOVE all of these, especially 7-12. I also admire how you've used the light in the next to last photo. And don't even get me started on that reflection photo...WOW, just perfect. So much inspiration here, Rachel. Thanks so much for sharing xx
