Such soulful eyes! I've been coveting your style for awhile now - would you mind sharing any technical tips for getting such clear, amazing photos? I'm shopping for a new lens right now and would love to get something even near to as clear as yours always seem to be.
I use a 35mm lens. This is the only lens I've ever used, I hope to get another one soon too :) I aim to treat light as much as a part of the photo as the kids and lots of pretty light will always make for a clearer photo. For instance, I took this photo in the morning when lots of light was flooding into my kitchen, I would not have been able to get such a clear picture at another time of day when there was less light in the room. I usually aim for late afternoon or early morning when the light is soft. I also take a LOT of photos and obviously choose the best one. My challenge for myself at the moment is to get better photos with less shots!
I love to make close-ups from my lovely children as well. Those beautiful faces are so wonderful to look at...
