Completely and utterly gobsmacked. These are incredible Rachael. I'm going to assume these were taking with your new lens. The bokeh in some of them is craaaaazy pretty. Hard to pick a favourite, but JJ's 'blue steel' (second from the bottom) might just have it by a nose.
Thanks Tarnya! The two soccer shots and the one of Jackson on the swing were with the 100mm. I've got to learn to get back further when I'm using it though, I probably wouldn't have ordinarily cut off his feet in the swing shot ;) All the others are with the 50mm, which is what I'm tending to favour at the moment.
So perfect it's hard to look!! What lens??? The bokeh is soooo gorgeous and the clarity and everything else you always get right. My goodness Rachael, why isn't your stuff on billboards all over the world. It is soooooooooooooooo much better than anything that is.
Thanks Julia! I bought a Canon EF 100mm f/2 a few weeks back. It is taking a bit of getting used to and I haven't really used it too much because it feels like you have to have a lot of space to use it effectively, but it's fun to use something different and I do like the dreaminess of the photos it takes.
